What's Your Property Worth?
Knowing your home's value helps you plan with confidence: how much equity you have, what you could borrow against it, and what it could sell for. For the most precise number, I prepare a custom Comparative Market Analysis built around your home, not an algorithm.
What is a home valuation?
It is an estimate of what your home would sell for in today’s market. Owners use it to understand their equity, plan a sale or a refinance, and decide whether an improvement project is worth it.
How do you arrive at the number?
I start with recent sales of truly comparable homes nearby, then adjust for the things that move price in LA: location down to the block, layout, light, lot, condition, upgrades, and what buyers are responding to right now.
Why not just use an online estimate?
Automated estimates are a starting point. They can’t see your renovation, your view, the noise on the street, or the house next door that sold with a pool. A local, hands-on valuation closes that gap.

Market Analysis
Comparative Market Analysis
A CMA compares your home with similar homes that sold recently nearby, then adjusts each one for its differences, such as size, condition, lot, and upgrades, to show what your home should command in the current market. It is what I prepare for sellers, and it is free.
Appraisals
A Licensed Appraiser's Opinion
An appraisal is an independent valuation, usually ordered by a lender for a purchase or refinance. The appraiser inspects the home inside and out, studies comparable sales, and writes a formal report. The homeowner typically pays for it.
Why Is a Valuation Important?
When knowing your number matters most
Selling
Price it right from day one. Overpricing costs time and leverage, underpricing leaves money on the table.
Refinancing
Lenders lend against value. Knowing your equity helps you negotiate better terms.
Improvements
See how your home compares with the neighborhood before you spend on upgrades that may not pay back.
Planning
Knowing what you own helps you make calm decisions when life changes, whether that is a move, a new baby, or a new job.
